BASIC FUNCTION
The Career Development Specialist ensures the achievement of ADNOC’s Emiratization targets and business plans through the development of a competent workforce. Provides professional advice and participates in the planning and development of Career Development policies, procedures and programs for ADNOC. Prepares, reviews, coordinates, tracks and monitors Career Development programs for UAE National employees under special career enhancement programs to meet the strategic Emiratization objectives of the company. Plays an effective and vital role in the career development process of UAE Nationals in the Company. Performs a consulting role for ADNOC and Group Companies when required. Devises and determines the most effective means available to meet the implementation of the development programs, including analysis, assessment and orientation in ADNOC and the Group Companies. Monitors, coordinates and supervises the Entry Point employees’ progress to ensure their smooth development, confirmation in their established positions and reports results to Management.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
8.1 BA/BSc./BE (Bachelor’s Degree) in Education/English, Business Administration or Engineering in relevant discipline.
8.2 10 years’ experience in the development, implementation and administration of training and career development plans and programs, policies and procedures in the Oil and Gas industry.
8.3 Highly proficient in written and spoken English, with ability to write/produce the Competency Programs for Entry Point employees.
8.4 Should have experience and in-depth knowledge in the discipline of ‘education’, and should be able to determine work methods from several existing alternatives to meet the company’s objectives.
8.5 Well-developed presentation and interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral. IT knowledge and PC operation is essential.
